About

I’m currently a NASA Postdoctoral Program (NPP) fellow at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. I am working on developing the data analysis pipelines for the Compton Spectrometer and Imager (COSI), a Small Explorer satellite mission that will launch in 2027. My science focus is measuring the Galactic diffuse continuum emission and extragalactic gamma-ray background in the COSI band. Additionally, I also work with data collected by the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope. I am a member of both the COSI and Fermi-LAT collaborations. In general, my expertise is in gamma-ray astronomy, and my research primarily entails data analysis, which includes data modeling, data visualization, development of data analysis pipelines, maximum likelihood estimation, hypothesis testing, uncertainty quantification, simulations, etc. Most of my coding is done using python, and I work extensively with high performance computing clusters. More broadly speaking, my research involves multi-wavelength analysis. I have analytical experience working with all wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum, from low-energy radio waves to high-energy gamma rays. I also have analytical experience working with cosmic rays.
